The eyepiece mounting ring has a quick release lever for fast exposure of the ocular, and the lid has a low-profile lever for one-finger closing. Once the lid is closed, it is kept closed with strong neodymium magnets. The lens cover can also be rotated on the eyepiece to enable opening in any direction. While this lens cap is compatible with standard Leupold riflescope eyepieces that were built after 2003, it can also be factory-modified to fit other compatible eyepieces.
